Israeli intelligence: ISIL daily income reaches ’$6 million’

The Zionist military intelligence agencies assessed on Friday that the daily financial income of the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) terrorist group reaches $6 million, due to oil and gas revenues, and to other sources of funding as well, warning of the group expansion in Asia.

"The group is enforcing its presence in the region, and has succeeded in collecting a lot of money resulting from robberies, ransoms and exploitation of natural resources such as oil and gas fields, in addition to receiving funds from Saudi and Kuwaiti parties," an 'Aman' intelligence official told military reporters in the Zionist entity.

"In the meantime, ISIL controls 60 oil field in Syria, earning daily between 3 and 6 million dollars," the official added according to Hebrew media outlets, noting that the group has seized four power plants in Syria, and controls now 45% of oil and gas reserves in the country.

"The control over these resources gives ISIL the stability and economic independence, including the electricity supply," the official underlined.

Moreover, the Zionist intelligence official warned of ISIL expansion in the Asian continent, stating that it has 30 thousand gunmen deployed in Iraq and Syria, in addition to sleeping cells in Lebanon.

"According to our information, the group has formed a ministry of interior, a police apparatus, a ministry of finance for the 'Islamic State' and a ministry of welfare," he indicated.

"The group has also seized an airport in Syria's Raqqa and started to issue passports holding the emblem of the 'Islamic State'," The Zionist officer added.
